If you are trying to fall pregnant, how often should you "do it" (make love)?
Once per day, 5 times per day?
Any hints?  |

Personally i find it hard to make love when you know you have to!
Its a mental thing.
generally we do it 3 times per day!
once in the morning, once at midday if possible and again at night.
Surely this has to brighten the chances of conceiving. |

Jess is right though, women DO find it difficult to keep up with the love making requirements - and it really is a requirement!
Just keep at it, once a day could be enough, but you just cut your chances down the less you do it obviously. |

My Doc told me that we should make love not more than once every 2 days cus more often can tire out poor hubbys sperm count.
I actually got pregnant once we stopped planning it altogether.
We just lost track of time, I didn't even know when my periods were due any more. We just did it when we felt like it, it was a lot more exciting and we got pregnant within a very short time of behaving like this.
Not very scientific I know but it worked for us.

Wow. Thats contrary to what Ive been told and read on the internet.
Everywhere I read it says do it as much as possible!
I wonder which is the right way? |

| YES IT IS TRUE ABOUT DOING IT EVERY OTHER DAY AS IT TAKES UP TO 48 HOURS FOR THE MANS SPERM COUNT TO INCREASE TO THE AMOUNT NEEDED TO FERTILISE AN EGG AS THE SPERM ARE BEST MATURE TO BE ABLE TO BREAK INTO THE EGG. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR 9 MONTHS ON AND OFF BUY MY PARTNER HAS A VERY HIGH SEX DRIVE SO WANKS ALOT SO I AM SURE THIS IS WHY I HAVENT CAUGHT SO I AM TRYING TO BAN HIM FROM WANKING TILL I CATCH LOL. EVERY OTHER DAY IS PLENTY COS SPERM LIVES FOR UP TO 72 HOURS AND CAN TAKE 10 HOURS TO ACTUALLY REACH THE EGG. WHETHER THAT IS TRUE I DONT KNOW |
